Secret of a fresh start for your day
Many times I just wake up of my bed every morning ready to do the things that I have to do.. Or when I've got nothing to do, I'll find something to do. Of course I'll start the day with some prayers, reading of scriptures.. But sometimes it gets dry.I've been trying something new nowadays. Waking up every morning and start my day with THANKSGIVING. There is great power in that. Just thank God for a wonderful morning, for a wonderful chance to live (long life is a grace of God for us to change into His image more and more), and also thank God for the breath of life, and just thank Him for everything because He's so faithful in our life. If we are faithless, He remains faithful.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him and bless His name (Psalm 100:4). It works. A heart of worship is also a heart full of thanksgiving. When we give thanks we acknowledge that He is sovereign, merciful, always good.
Fig trees may no longer bloom, or vineyards produce grapes; olive trees may be fruitless, and harvest time a failure; sheep pens may be empty, and cattle stalls vacant-- but I will still celebrate because the LORD God saves me. The LORD gives me strength. He makes my feet as sure as those of a deer, and he helps me stand on the mountains. (Habakkuk 3:17-19)
Even when you feel that there is nothing going right, give a sacrifice of praise. Thank Him for who He is and that all things work together to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
Remember God has the whole universe in His hands. And your name is graven in His heart. You are precious.
